Asociación de Estudiantes de Biología de Chile

From December 2012 to December 2014, I had the privilege of serving as President of the Asociación de Estudiantes de Biología de Chile (AEBCh), a national student-led organization that brings together biology students from universities across the country.

AEBCh National Congress 2014 — Universidad Católica de Temuco, Temuco.
In 2014, the congress was held at the Universidad Católica de Temuco, Región de La Araucanía. This edition focused on biodiversity and conservation, two key issues in the national biological agenda. The program included keynote speakers; oral presentations and poster sessions; academic networks among students and researchers; and explorations in Tolhuaca and Conguillio National Parks, as well as birdwatching at Lake Budi

These events were made possible through close coordination with local organizing committees and the host universities. Leading these congresses was a formative experience that reinforced my dedication to collaborative science and student-driven initiatives.

AEBCh National Congress 2013 — Universidad de Chile, Santiago.
The 2013 congress took place for first time at the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad de Chile. It marked a major milestone for AEBCh by gathering students from universities throughout Chile to present their research, attend keynote lectures, and participate in thematic workshops at the National Museum of Natural History of Chile. The event emphasized student-led science, with a strong focus on showcasing the diversity of biological research being conducted across the country.
